Dwellings of Eldervale
I loved everything about this game. It’s got both euro game elements and Ameri-trash mechanics. Its BEAUTIFUL! The gameplay is tight and it’s just soo much fun. Andromega’s Edge is the spiritual successor to this. If you’ve already love that, you’ll probably love this too.

Expeditions (Ironclad Edition)
Expeditions was the sequel to Sycthe, but wasn’t really a sequel because it was a totally different game altogether. It plays much more like an engine builder. If mid-tier complexity engine builders with a cool as hell universe is your thing, then give this a go. The Ironclad Edition is on sale for Black Friday.

I’m a sucker for a cool sci-fi setting. New Eden has that. Let me set the scene: Earth is only water now and society lives in underwater facilities. The sea level is rising and you have to save the planet, using one worker at a time…

Sabika is another euro game (yep, I’m a euro gamer through and through). It’s set around the rich history of the Alhambra palace in Granada. You play as one of the nobles involved in the Alhambra’s creation, developing your dynasty and building trade routes across the world.
Warning: this is a crunchy one. But if that’s your cup of tea, then you’ll love this.

Skymines
Okay, one final crunchy euro game here. Skymines was a retheming of the classic title ‘Mombasa’. The designer, Alexander Pfister, must have had the thought, “how can I make this great board game EVEN better?”. The answer, of course, is to take it to space. It’s had a lot of praise over the years and Skymines is, without a doubt, the best version yet.

Sushi Go: Spin Some For Dim Sum
