Ragnarök has come, and the Viking clans of Midgard have one final chance to earn glory before the world is consumed.
In Blood Rage, players take control of rival Viking clans, commanding warriors, leaders, ships and legendary monsters as they battle for territory and seek a glorious place in Valhalla.
Each of the game’s three Ages begins with a card draft that shapes your strategy. Cards can strengthen your clan, provide powerful battle abilities, unlock upgrades, introduce monsters or give you quests to complete for additional Glory.
Players spend Rage to invade provinces, move their forces, upgrade their clan and pillage valuable locations. Battles are resolved through a combination of miniature strength and secretly played cards, creating plenty of opportunities for bluffing and tactical surprises.
Victory is not always about surviving. Some strategies actively reward losing battles or having your warriors sent to Valhalla, meaning even a devastating defeat can become part of a successful long-term plan.
This Second Edition includes support for up to five players, bringing the former fifth-player content directly into the core game.
