Colt Express: The Card Game

This train ain’t big enough for the… 8 of us!?

Colt Express: The Card Game takes the core idea of the original train-heist game and condenses it into a quicker, more compact format. Players take on the role of outlaws robbing a moving train, competing to collect the most valuable loot while disrupting each other’s plans.

Gameplay centres around planning and timing, with players selecting and resolving actions that move them between train cars, interact with other bandits, and pick up loot. Like the original, there’s an element of unpredictability, as actions don’t always play out exactly as intended once everything is revealed.

The card game version focuses on keeping things fast and accessible, making it easier to get to the table while still retaining the chaotic, interactive feel of a train robbery in progress.

Overall, it’s a lighter, more portable take on Colt Express, suited to players who enjoy quick, interactive games with a bit of unpredictability.
