Dorfromantik: The Board Game

The video game by indie studio Toukana Interactive has been a hit among gamers since its Early Access launch in March 2021 and has received several prestigious awards. Now, Michael Palm and Lukas Zach have adapted the popular tile-laying puzzle game into a board game for everyone to enjoy with Dorfromantik – The Board Game.

Dorfromantik – The Board Game is a cooperative game for up to six players who use hexagonal tiles to create a beautiful landscape together and meet the needs of its inhabitants. They also have to build the longest train track and river possible, and pay attention to the flags that score points in finished areas. The more skillfully they design their landscape, the more points they can earn at the end of the game. In the replayable campaign, they can use the points from previous games to unlock new tiles that are hidden in small, sealed boxes. These tiles offer new, additional challenges and allow them to keep improving their high score in this relaxing game.
