The struggle for control of Cardia has awakened powerful mythical guardians.
Guardians of the Wild is a mini-expansion for Duel for Cardia that introduces a new tactical element to the two-player battle for influence.
Every second round, players encounter a Guardian. If a card belonging to the matching faction is played on that Guardian, its special ability is triggered, potentially changing the outcome of the current encounter or even affecting encounters that have already been resolved.
Each Guardian supports only one of Cardia's factions, encouraging players to carefully consider the timing and faction of the cards they play.
Compact and easy to add to the base game, Guardians of the Wild introduces another layer of tactical decision-making without significantly increasing the playing time.
Requires Duel for Cardia to play.
