Icaion: Solo Mode (Expansion)

Experience the thrill of Icaion like never before with the Icaion: Solo Mode expansion, introducing Velkhorne, a fully autonomous opponent designed for solo play. Each turn, Velkhorne acts through its unique Action Cards, blocking access to Qoam crystals, spreading parasites, and removing vital resources from the board.

Unlike traditional solo variants, you won't simulate choices against yourself. Velkhorne’s behaviour is both streamlined and tactical; each turn presents you with one of two possible actions it may perform, allowing you to plan and respond as if you were facing a human opponent.

Velkhorne is not a collector; he prefers to steal. Instead of acquiring Curio cards, Shards, or Apparatuses, he removes them from the game entirely, challenging your resource management skills. His presence looms large around the City, manipulating zones tied to specific Regions, deploying corruption, and directing parasites to sabotage your Machines and disrupt your plans.

To enhance replayability, Challenge Cards introduce varying conditions that scale the difficulty and add excitement to each session. The result is a robust solo experience that remains deeply strategic, immersive, and true to the essence of Icaion.
