Form a band and work your way from small garage gigs to the biggest stages in Melodies, a cooperative card game where timing and teamwork are everything.
Players work together to complete songs by playing cards from their hands. On each turn, everyone either plays one or more cards or passes, with the most commonly played value becoming the Melody for the current note.
To successfully complete a song, every note must follow the correct progression and all players must empty their hands.
Communication is limited. You can discuss general strategy with your bandmates, but you cannot reveal the cards in your hand or tell other players exactly what you plan to do, making it essential to read the table and anticipate each other's choices.
As your band progresses from Mom's Garage towards increasingly impressive venues, new rules, instruments, audience members and challenges are introduced, gradually changing how each performance plays.
