If you play the game owning this optional companion, your Characters will set free the Black Goat of The Moors at one point in the campaign. Gameplay-wise, it is a feistier, western-Avalonian version of the Donkey companion, known from the previous Tainted Grail games. It carries your burdens, helps you travel, and may perform some other helpful actions. However, it also comes with its own small personal side story. As you travel the settlements with your goat, you will notice wry looks and hear scared whispers. Commoners seem to think the goat is a demon in disguise - and if you keep it long enough, you might discover the surprising truth about the animal and its former master...
