The Arks of Omen have spread terror and death from one end of the galaxy to the other. Despite the efforts of those who resisted them, their masters have collected enough arcane relics for Vashtorr the Arkifane to forge his monstrous Key. The time draws near when the daemon and the Despoiler will together activate this engine of terrible power.

There are still those who can stand against their dark plan. Foremost among them are Supreme Grand Master Azrael and the many Unforgiven Chapters who fight under his banner. Gathering their strength, the Dark Angels and their successors respond to the Arkifane’s provocation, hoping to suppress whatever evil he and Abaddon seek to unleash.
