Xcrawl Classics: Core Rulebook

Description

Welcome to Xcrawl, where dungeon crawling isn't just an adventure — it's the biggest spectator sport in the North American Empire.

Professional adventurers compete in deadly manufactured dungeons while millions of fans watch the action live through magical spellphones. Each event is created by a Dungeon Judge, filling arenas with monsters, traps, magical hazards, puzzles and increasingly ridiculous challenges designed to entertain the crowds.

Players take on the roles of celebrity adventurers competing for fame, fortune, sponsorship deals and championship glory. Survive the dungeon and you could become a superstar. Fail, and your spectacular demise may still make great television.

The Xcrawl Classics Core Rulebook contains everything needed to play, including complete character creation rules, new classes, spells, monsters and mechanics built around the game's unique combination of fantasy dungeon crawling and over-the-top sporting spectacle.

Built on the Dungeon Crawl Classics rules engine, Xcrawl Classics is also fully compatible with Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG, making it easy to use adventures, monsters and other material from either game.

Xcrawl Classics is a complete standalone roleplaying game.
